Terms of Service

These simple terms explain how QR Attendance is intended to be used.

Using the app

QR Attendance is a workplace attendance tool. The organisation that provides the app link is responsible for creating member accounts, setting the approved QR value and Wi‑Fi BSSID, managing the Google Sheet, and deciding who may use the service.

Member accounts

Users must sign in with the username and numeric PIN provided by their organisation. Each account may be bound to one device after its first successful login. Do not share another person’s credentials or attempt to bypass the device, QR, network, or time checks.

Acceptable use

  • Use the app only for legitimate attendance at the organisation’s workplace.
  • Keep the fixed QR code and app link under the organisation’s control.
  • Do not interfere with the Apps Script, Google Sheet, or another user’s account.
  • Report incorrect records or access problems to the organisation administrator.

Availability and records

The app depends on the organisation’s Google Apps Script deployment, Google Sheets, network connectivity, device permissions, and the configured Wi‑Fi environment. The organisation is responsible for its own configuration, backups, access permissions, and attendance records. QR Attendance does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every device will support every Wi‑Fi scanning capability.

Changes and contact

The app and these terms may be updated as the project evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. For account, attendance, or configuration questions, contact the organisation administrator or visit the Support page.
